Because birth is more than a moment. It is a beginning—ancient, powerful, and uniquely yours.
Gentle, grounded doula care and thoughtful childbirth education to help you feel informed, connected, and supported in the way you welcome new life.
A SOFTER SPACE TO BEGIN
For generations, women have brought new life into the world with strength, intuition, community, and care.
I believe we can honor that timeless wisdom while making space for today's knowledge, informed consent, and personal choice. Your birth belongs to you. You deserve support that helps you feel heard—not hurried—and cared for as a whole person.

THE HEART BEHIND PLANTING SEEDS
A mama of four, an Oregon native planted in Texas, and a woman who believes birth can be deeply transformative.
My passion for birth began after welcoming my first son in a hospital. I left feeling that there was more to birth than what I had experienced—and I followed that feeling into learning everything I could.
My next three babies were born at home, including my twins and my first water birth. Those experiences deepened my belief that women deserve knowledge, choice, and steady support throughout their own unique journeys.
Now I'm answering the call to birth work: to walk alongside families with encouragement, education, comfort strategies, and a peaceful presence. My hope is to help you move through birth feeling empowered rather than led by fear.

A seed for what’s nextTHE ROOTS OF MY WORK
I believe that women should be knowledgeable about their birth and their medical care, that informed consent is essential, and that every birthing person has a right to be heard.
I believe fathers and partners belong in the process. I believe birth is sacred and that mothers deserve to feel empowered. I bring non-medical pain-coping strategies, a steady hand, and a commitment to support you as you make your own decisions.
Your care team makes medical recommendations; you make your decisions. My role is to support, inform, and encourage—not to replace your midwife, physician, or nurse.
Knowledge, consent, and room to make decisions with confidence.
Making space for the dignity and meaning of your unique birth.
Strengthening the connection between both parents during this transition.
Breath, movement, positioning, touch when welcomed, and calm support.
“May you feel as deeply supported as the roots beneath you, and as free to grow as the life within you.”

A LITTLE CLARITY
Whether you're planning a home birth, considering your options, or just beginning to explore doula care, you're welcome as you are.
Ask me a questionA birth doula offers non-medical emotional, informational, and physical comfort support. That might look like listening, suggesting labor positions or breathing strategies, helping your partner feel involved, and supporting you as you ask questions and communicate preferences.
Doula care can complement home, birth-center, or hospital births. We'll talk about your intended birth setting, your clinical care team, and what support would be appropriate for your individual plan.
Absolutely. I believe fathers and partners deserve to be included in birth. My presence is meant to support your bond and strengthen your team, not replace your partner.
No. A doula is not a medical provider and does not perform clinical tasks or make decisions for you. I support informed questions, consent, communication, comfort, and your choices while your licensed care team provides medical care.
You can connect any time during pregnancy. Reaching out early gives us more time to build a relationship and prepare, but you can inquire whenever you're ready.
Not yet. Lactation consulting is part of the long-term vision for Planting Seeds Birth & Beyond, but it is not a current service.
LET'S PLANT SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
